Some guy named Ted from Insomniac Games says that the media is beating the crap out of Sony and the PS3, because it’s human nature to take out the guy on top.

After a bit of soul-searching and a staff meeting, we’ve decided that Ted is right. We do like picking on Sony for reasons that go beyond their lack of interesting titles, horrible online offering, chronic self-hype, inflated price tag, lack of rumble, programming difficulty, and annoying President. As it turns out, we’re all just jealous, because we wish that WE were losing the console war to a pair of less-powerful systems. WE wanted to invent a genius gaming platform descended from an epic brand and run it into the ground.

We’re such haters.
