Hoping to piggy back on the media hype surrounding Michael Vick’s current legal woes, Take Two Interactive announced today that it had signed a development deal with the football star to bring “Michael Vick’s Extreme Dogfighting” to the 360 and PS3 by February 2008.
While details are sketchy at the moment, Take Two has confirmed the title will include an online multi player mode.
“You’ll be able to raise puppies,
feed them, nurture them, and then watch them rip each other to shreds in stunning 1080i,” said the official press release, which was leaked to Sarcastic Gamer.
An email from the company’s PR department also revealed that Take Two is “very close” to closing a deal with Filipino boxing sensation Manny Pacquiao, who will also appear in this surprise title from the company that most recently made headlines with its AO-rated MANHUNT 2.
“If a dog loses a fight
, Pacquiao will eat it,” said the company insider that we spoke with.
Michael Vick’s Extreme Dog Fighting will offer exclusive content to 360 users including achievements for cruelty and kennel design.
