New gameplay details emerged today regarding Halo 3. Spoilers Below!!!

It turnes out that Bungie envisioned the third installment of Halo as the ultimate love story! In the second level a love triangle is revealed! It turns out that the Aribiter and Cortana were lovers in their college days, before she met Master Chief. Apparently this information rocks Master Chief to his core and the Arbiter and Master Chief spend the rest of the campaign as bitter rivals trying to win Cortana’s love.

Details are sketchy, but we do know that there are two seperate Achievements related to the love triangle. One is entittled “Arbiter of Love,” which is worth 75 points, while the second, entitled “Master of the Program,” is worth 100.I don’t know about you guys, but I want to see the Arbiter make sweet, sweet, Alien love to Cortana!!!!
